EU4Digital invites EaP clusters to ‘Clusters Meet Regions’ matchmaking event
The EU4Digital Facility invites cluster organisations from Eastern partner countries to attend the ‘Clusters Meet Regions’ event on 1–2 July 2025 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Organised by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), this flagship event will bring together cluster managers, policymakers, business support organisations and innovation actors to exchange knowledge and explore new partnerships.
Focusing on key economic and innovation sectors such as agrifood, green energy, wood and furniture, design, Industry 4.0, and digital transformation, the event covers areas with high potential for cooperation between cluster ecosystems in the European Union (EU) and Eastern Partnership (EaP) region — Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
In collaboration with ECCP and as part of its ongoing efforts to promote cross-border collaboration and strengthen the EaP region’s innovation landscape, EU4Digital is supporting the participation of Eastern partner clusters in the event by offering the opportunity to join the matchmaking session online. Taking place on 1 July from 17:00–19:00 EEST (16:00–18:00 CEST), the session will enable one-on-one virtual meetings through the B2Match platform.
The online meetings will provide a practical and targeted way for EaP clusters to connect with EU counterparts, showcase their strengths, and explore opportunities for future cooperation. With a focus on visibility, internationalisation and strategic networking, the matchmaking is particularly valuable for organisations looking to expand their reach and engage in collaborative projects.
